About the Course

The art of food & wine pairing will show how things like acid can complement an acidic dish by chemically offsetting the perception of acid on our palate. The course will go over classic pairings along with how to decide what will go best with hard to pair foods. The course will include small bites & a tasting flight so you can taste what works together & what doesn't.

Wellie is a sommelier with credentials through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirits Education Trust, 3iC Italian wine specialist & certification in winemaking in viticulture from U.C. Davis.
